European Gromwell - a close relative of Forget-Me-Not is in the midst of its very inconspicuous flowering. The very similar Corn Gromwell can also be found in this area.
Cut-leaved Water Horehound is at its peak in wet ditches and waste places.
And the big showy pink flowers of Everlasting Pea - a well established garden escape listed by all of my wildflower field guides- are draped through the weeds along Route 30.
