Spotted Touch-Me-Not AKA Jewelweed, a plant of damp places, is opening a few flowers. Touch-Me-Nots are in the Impatiens family.
And, along roadsides, Early Goldenrod is starting to shine. My field guide has eleven pages of goldenrods, and one or another of those species will be flowering for the next 3 months!
