Orpine AKA Live-forever is in flower. Its fleshy leaves and clusters of deep pink five pointed flowers are common along roadsides.
Panicled Tick-trefoil arches over thickets and weed patches.
The pale nodding flowers of Wintergreen nestle close to the earth.
And a pair of Damselflies - probably a species called Familiar Bluets - ensure that future generations of damselflies will dance over still waters.
