A casebearer moth larva climbs the side of my house looking for a place to pupate. There are half a dozen different casebearer species in our area.
Leatherleaf is in flower.
Eastern Tent Caterpillars have webbed limb forks in cherry trees. Tent caterpillars leave the web to feed but return to its shelter while they digest their meal. Tent caterpillars often defoliate their host tree.
And, Hummingbirds are back. I saw one yesterday and today one was a regular visitor to our nectar feeder.
