Last night a Northern Pine Looper moth was airborne. Larval hosts for this species are white, red and Jack pines and white spruce.
Today a Junco was gathering fur to line its nest.
Heal-all AKA Selfheal is in flower. Its flowers are a favorite of Bumblebees.
ANd Whorled Loosestrife - the earliest of several yellow loosestrifes to flower - turned its face to the sun.
