Today Mimulus Moschatus AKA Musk Flower is in flower. This is a state listed rare or unusual species found in just one location in Dummerston and perhaps 20 locations statewide.
White Admiral butterflies are emerging. This one posed nicely … shortly after butting heads with a car.
And Round-leaved Sundews stand ready to capture some small part of the insect swarm. In a few weeks these little carnivores will put up slender stalks and tiny white flowers.
