7-8 Catnip, Hemp Nettle, Camouflaged Looper

7-8 Purple-spotted white or pale lilac flowers make Catnip easy to identify.
The white or purple flowers of Hemp Nettle are often purple striped and are common along roadsides and in waste places. Both are members of the mint family.
A Camouflaged Looper - larva of the Wavy-lined Emerald Moth - has dressed itself in pieces of the flower it's feeding on. Without their camo these are very ordinary looking inchworms. John
