7-7 Canadian Burnet, Marsh Bellflower, Mallard and ducklings

7-7 Canadian Burnett - a member of the rose family - is opening dense spikes of tiny white flowers. Look for it on river banks.
Wet meadows and shores are home to Marsh Bellflower, AKA Bedstraw Bellflower. Its flowers are usually white but may be tinged with blue.
A Mallard hen was followed by eight ducklings. None of them seemed overly concerned by my presence. John
