7-11 Culver's Root, Hairy Willow Herb, Water Cress

7-11 Whorled leaves and spikes of small white tubular flowers make Culver's Root easy to identify. Look for it in woods and meadows.
The rose purple flowers of Hairy Willow Herb stand above damp thickets and waste places.
Wet feet and tiny white flowers make Water Cress a bit unremarkable. Its pungent leaves are used for salads. John
