6-4 Rough-fruited Cinquefoil, Fringed Bindweed, Shining Ladies Tresses

 6-4

The pale yellow flowers of Rough-fruited, AKA Sulphur, cinquefoil, an alien species, are opening along roadsides and in dry fields.

The native Fringed Bindweed twines over neighboring plants on slopes and rocky banks.

And Shining, AKA Wide Leaved, Ladies Tresses, another native species, favors moist habitat such as river banks.
