The bur-like fruits of Sweet Fern have formed. Inside the bur is an edible nutlet which is said to have a "delicate" taste.
Harebells grace ledges, dry woods and fields.
The sparse white flowers of White Avens are also open.
And Oak Drops which are parasitic on Oak are up and flowering - in their own odd way.
