5-13 Bugle, Mayapple, American Bladdernut, Common Spring Moth

5-13 Lawns and roadsides are home to Bugle, a garden escape.
Mayapple, AKA Mandrake, is flowering in rich woods and pastures.
Moist thickets and banks host American Bladdernut, so called because of its inflated, three-pointed seed pods.
Common Spring moths are flying. Host plants for this species are black and honey locusts. John
