5-1 Cherry, Yellow Violets, Morrow's Honeysuckle, Woodchuck

5-1 Sweet, AKA Mazzard, Cherry, a native to Europe and Asia, is now widely established here.
Smooth Yellow Violets and the very similar downy Yellow Violets are both in flower: smooth yelow in moist woods, downy yellow in dry woods.
Morrow's Honeysuckle, an early flowering Asian invasive, gives the first hints of the many other honeysuckle species that will soon flower.
My first Woodchuck of the season.
Also seen Striped Skunk and Cabbage White butterfly. John
