6-5 Creeping Buttercup

Creeping Buttercup is in flower. The leaves of this plant are mottled in much the same way as the leaves of Waterleaf.
On a hiking trail I found a beautifully little woven nest. Apparently the bird that constructed it inherited genes for weaving but not genes for securing or hiding its nest.
