Last night Rosy Maple moths were flying. Rosy Maple moths are silk moths, closely related to Luna and Cecropia and Polyphemus moths.
Whorled Loosestrife is in flower. This is the first to flower of the four yellow loosestrifes I normally see.
The blue-violet flowers of Harebell are open.
And the long stamened pale violet or white flowers of Virginia Waterleaf are at their peak.
