The large wrinkled flowers of Purple-flowering Raspberry are starting to open. This plant is in the rose family.
The tiny, white, raceemed, urn shaped flowers of Maleberry are also opening. Maleberry is a lover of acidic bogs and wet areas.
A Nais Tiger moth showed its colors just long enough for a picture.
And a very fortunate jumping spider and a very unfortunate fly met for lunch on a Dogbane leaf.
