Jewelweed, Rose Campion, Asiatic Dayflower, New Jersey Tea, Narrow-leaved Sundrops, Snake in a bush
Jewelweed, also called touch-me-not, features bright orange, tubular flowers spotted with red or brown.
Rose Campion has magenta blossoms and woolly, silvery-gray leaves.
Asiatic Dayflower has two blue petals at the top and amuch smaller petal underneath. The blooms last for one day.
New Jersey Tree is native shrub that produces abundant clusters of tiny, fragrant white flowers.
Narrow-leaved Sundrops is in the evening primrose family.
After a drenching rainfall garter snakes will climb into bushes to dry out and possibly get warm.
