The recent cool wet weather has favored Poison Ivy. I've never seen it as lush and flower-spangled as it is this year.
The first few pale yellow Rough-fruited Cinquefoil flowers are open.
White Campion dots roadsides.
And one of the eye-spot patterned butterflies - probably the Little Wood Satyr - is emerging in unbelievable numbers.
