6-8 Purple-flowering Raspberry, Pale Corydalis, Black-eyed Susan, Cow-wheat, Phoebe nestlings

6-8 Purple-flowering Raspberry adds color to rocky woods and borders.
Inhospitable places - often nearly soil-less ledges - are home to Pale Corydalis.
Black-eyed Susans are taking their place in the landscape and will soon be nearly ubiquitous.
Cow-wheat - described as facultatively hemi-parasitic - is common in dry woods.
The nestling Phoebes under my barn will soon fledge and a second brood will take their place. John
