Rooted in a thin layer of soil atop a sun-warmed ledge a single Pale Corydalis waved its colorful blossoms in this morning's breeze.
On both a Locust tree and the ground a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers did what I think was a courtship dance with lots of head bobbing and posturing.
