The white butterfly is a Mustard White rather than a Cabbage White. The dark ventral wing veins are the giveaway. Normally Cabbages have a dark spot (male-1, female-2) but some early spring males have none. So, the dark wing veins are what is needed to tell the Cabbage from the Mustard. Great find! Glad to see Dummerston Sightings back. Great way to start. I would love to see a live Mustard White!
