Spreading Dogbane, Silvery Cinquefoil, Climbing False Buckwheat, Cow Vetch, Bird-foot Trefoil and Sleepy Catchfly all put out a few flowers today.
White Admirals and Silver-spotted Skippers were flying.
And a hen turkey led a bevy of newly hatched poults through the rank grasses and weeds in my field.
